As I have always said, a plan is nothing more than a blueprint for change, and that has proven true for the Mobile Marshies.
Since my last update of 2 June, we have been assessing the situation with Liz's mother and, after initially planning to scoot off to the Mildura area for a couple of months at the end of July to chase a spot of sun, we have now decided to remain in Adelaide until the the New Year.
So, the Windsor Gardens caravan park will now remain our place of residence until just before Xmas when we have booked into West Beach for a week as of 20 December.
All things being equal we are then heading off at speed to join our Sydney based friends for New Year in the NSW country town of Junee (an annual pilgrimage for them). After what I am sure will be an undoubtedly boisterous week we have no further plans at this stage.
Be assured I shall post a further update when I have something to report, but for now we shall continue to rug up, bemoan the good fortune of all our regular Kurrimine Beach friends (who continue to delight in telling us how warm they are), swap hot soup for summer salads, stout for cold beer, and continue to count down the days until we can again sit outside supping on a quiet afternoon libation well into the evening without freezing to death in the dark!
Ah well, at least we are thoroughly enjoying catching up with all our Adelaide friends, some of whom we've not seen for some time, and the days are getting longer.......it's not all bad, just cold!
