STILL ALIVE AND KICKING (11 MARCH 2020)

As the title says, I've not yet shuffled off this mortal coil, but I have been damn busy, too busy to have the time to think about blogland. I had hoped to be 'back on the air' by now, but that has proven impossible.

Despite our nomadic lifestyle I still Chair the Constitution Committee of my surf lifesaving club and have been involved with rewriting its quite extensive raft of club by-laws over the past months. 

This obligation has recently peaked for a number of reasons, and frankly folks, to use the vernacular, I have been severely 'under the pump'! Believe it or not, in just over a week recently spent at Port Hughes I only threatened the local fish once.....that should say it all really!

Liz and I are now back in Adelaide for a couple of weeks and, as is usual for these flying visits, we have hardly a minute to spare. 'The Matron' is back in harness at The Memorial Hospital for much of the time, and I find myself flat out with the continuing constitutional stuff, medical specialist's appointments, a raft of minor van repairs and a complete reorganization in preparation for our next sortie to WA.....not to mention valiantly trying to catch up with important friends and rellies.

So, dear readers, I implore your patience. We shall resume the adventure as soon as I have some clear air.
