No the rumour is not true....we are both still alive and kicking and finally back on the road again after having spent just over five months back in Adelaide. I'll not bore you with the details of our home town sojourn other than to say that Liz went back to work at The Memorial Hospital, we both did the rounds of various medical specialists and paid a visit to our dentist, we shared a most delightful Xmas with our rellies and saw your scribe's younger son tie the knot with his charming fiancee.
We again made the Windsor Gardens Caravan Park our temporary home apart from a three week break during February when we toddled over to Yorke Peninsula for a break from the routine. More of that later.
But for now, I have much to catch up on. When I last left you we were still in Lightning Ridge and it was September 2016. I have to say the temptation to skip all that befell us between then and arriving back in Adelaide was tempting given how far behind with everything I now am, but I have decided that's the easy way out.
So, before continuing our adventures in 2017 let me rewind the time clock and take you back to September 2016 and pick up where we left off in 'The Ridge' in the next post.
